Simon Rubenstein is an award-winning producer, director, and cinematographer based in New York City. His work spans live broadcast, scripted narratives, and immersive experiences—from PBS NewsHour and CBS affiliates to installations at the American Museum of Natural History and international festival selections including TIFF and Euro‑Vision Palermo.

As the founder of Brooklyn Pictures Entertainment, Simon leads teams that bring ambitious concepts to life with cinematic precision. Recognitions include the Boston Globe Scholastic Art & Writing Award in Photography and the Toni Hawkins Award for Excellence at NYU Tisch. He blends creative development with on-the-ground production to deliver work that is visually compelling and strategically impactful.

Simon serves on the Board of Directors of the National Alopecia Areata Foundation, contributing as a thought leader, mentor, and advocate. Driven by curiosity and storytelling, he continues to explore new ways to captivate audiences and redefine what cinematic content can achieve.
